Considered by the specialized media as one of the most influential female DJs in Brazilian’s underground electronic scene, Vivi Seixas is a constant figure in the line ups of disputed events, playing alongside with big names like DJ Sneak , Danny Daze and The Chemical Brothers.
Globetrotter has an international career that includes gigs in iconic clubs in California, as the King King and The End Up , festivals in Uruguay, Ibiza and Minorca. In addition, she has also been requested to Red Carpet events in New York, and even in a castle in Rome.
Adept in House Music, Vivi prefers steady bass lines with lots of groove, flowing into sophisticated and irreverent sets. “I love House Music because its an evolving and sexy style . It is perfect for parties , whether on a beach or in a club, parades, goes well with everything! “she explains.
In 2016 Vivi is hosting next to the Dj Lennox and Fabiano Albergaria a FM radio show called “Nao pare Na Pista”, dedicated to the underground electronic scene, which airs on Radio Roquette Pinto station . The program invites consolidated DJs, personalities, presents the work of new music producers of Rio.
Passion for music
Vivi brings from the crib her musical vein. Her first musical memories were his father’s lap, Raul Seixas, a famous Brazilian singer while playing the guitar. The Dj grew in dense musical background and an effervescent scene that defined his love for music and passion for new.
The relationship with electronic music narrowed in 1998 in Australia, where she experienced a festival for the first time and realized that was part of that vibe and fell in love with that sound. With strong support of friends, who perceived the refined taste and her passion for the thing, She decided to become a DJ.
With references like Mark Farina, Inland Knights, Derrick Carter and Late Night Society, Vivi attended the renowned Pyramid, Media & Music production School when she also became a musical producer. Since then, following a consolidated career, she is invited to GIGs throughout Brazil, and the most important of the Rio events, from the “Rio Dos Meus Olhos”, celebrating the 450th anniversary of the city, and at Rock in Rio 2015.
